在今天，高二一班進(jìn)行了一次辯論會(huì)。最近在高中加方社會(huì)學(xué)的課上，我們對(duì)加拿大政府有了進(jìn)一步的了解，老師Mr.O'Brien準(zhǔn)備想讓我們模擬加拿大的政黨們，來(lái)進(jìn)行一次競(jìng)選。 Today, a debate was held by the G11 students. 現(xiàn)在正逢加拿大新一屆選舉前夕，本次參加選舉的一共有六個(gè)政黨：保守黨，自由黨，綠黨，新民主黨，魁北克政黨，加拿大人民黨。每個(gè)黨派都由兩三個(gè)學(xué)生代表，去相互辯論，證明自己的黨派的理念是最正確的，應(yīng)該由自己的政黨當(dāng)政。

On the eve of Canada's new elections, there are six parties that participate in the election: the Conservatives, the Liberals, the Green party, the New Democrats, the Bloc Quebecois, and the People's Party of Canada. Each party is represented by two or three students to argue with each other to prove that the idea of his party is the most correct and that it should be run by its own party.

作為辯論的一員，在整個(gè)辯論過(guò)程中，大家全程用英語(yǔ)進(jìn)行辯論，展示出良好的專(zhuān)業(yè)素養(yǎng)。每一位代表人闡述自方觀點(diǎn)時(shí)都滴水不漏，在他方陳述的時(shí)候仔細(xì)聆聽(tīng)，尋找可以辯駁的機(jī)會(huì)。全程氣氛都很活躍，比如代表現(xiàn)在加拿大執(zhí)政黨的兩位同學(xué)代表和另一個(gè)有力競(jìng)爭(zhēng)對(duì)手保守黨的兩位同學(xué)就多次相互質(zhì)疑，但每次也都大方作出回應(yīng)，反擊利落到位;剩下幾個(gè)在成長(zhǎng)道路上的政黨們也都不遺余力地表明著自己的黨派的觀點(diǎn)，也是辯駁地精彩紛呈。We debated in English throughout the debate, showing good professionalism. Each representative listened carefully when he or she expounds his or her own point of view, listening carefully when he or she makes his or her statement, looking for an argumentable opportunity. The atmosphere was lively, as two classmates representing the current ruling party in Canada and two from the Conservative Party, another strong rival, repeatedly questioned each other, but each time they responded generously and fought back against the fall of the party, and the remaining parties on the growth path spared no effort to express their party's views. It's also a great argument.

整個(gè)過(guò)程持續(xù)了70分鐘，但我們覺(jué)得好像就一晃而過(guò)，我們還有好多沒(méi)有辯呢，就這么結(jié)束了，每個(gè)人還摩拳擦掌準(zhǔn)備來(lái)一場(chǎng)硬仗，來(lái)證明自己的黨派就是最好的。果然用心專(zhuān)注的時(shí)候，是感受不到時(shí)間的流逝的。The whole process lasted for 70 minutes, but we felt as if it’s just one second. We still had a lot to say, and that was the end of it, and everyone was ready for a hard fight to prove that their party was the best. When you focus, you can't feel time passing.

在學(xué)生們體驗(yàn)過(guò)政黨辯論的感覺(jué)后，在下周二同學(xué)們還會(huì)看加拿大今年大選的直播，投票給自己支持的政黨，同時(shí)來(lái)看看真正的大選是如何的激烈，讓我們敬請(qǐng)期待!After students have experienced the feeling of a party debate, next Tuesday they will also watch Canada's general election live, vote for their own party, and see how intense the real election is.
