在11月26日，我們將迎來2020年的感恩節(jié)。在往常的感恩節(jié)，我們會感恩家長、老師，以及其他為社會付出的人們；今年是一個(gè)不平凡的年份，我們也要感謝一群為中國作出巨大貢獻(xiàn)的人們。

升旗儀式-Thanksgiving Day: What should we feel thankful for

On November 26, we will celebrate Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving Day is a day we share how grateful we are for our parents, teachers, and other people who have contributed to society; this year is particular, and we also want to thank a group of people who have made tremendous contributions to China.

這些感動中國的人有的離開嗷嗷待哺的嬰兒，奔赴抗疫一線；有的高齡出征，力挽狂瀾；有的為了照顧病人犧牲了自己的生命。他們，就是病魔的克星，是生命的希望，是患者在茫茫黑夜中最亮的啟明星。

Some of these people who touched China left their children waiting to be fed and rushed to the front line of the fight against the epidemic; some went to fight at an advanced age to turn the tide; some sacrificed their lives to take care of the sick. They are the nemesis of illness, the hope of life, and the brightest star of the patient in the night.

令人印象很深刻的有兩個(gè)事件。第一，鐘南山院士接到抗疫通知后，立刻奔赴武漢一線支援。由于臨時(shí)購票沒有座位，他只能在餐車?yán)镄菹?。在新聞?bào)導(dǎo)的圖片中，鐘南山院士頭靠著餐車椅背，在到達(dá)武漢前簡單的休息。他不懼艱辛，毅然前往危險(xiǎn)地區(qū)支援，是一位值得感激、尊敬的院士。

There are two very impressive events. The first is that the famous Zhong Nanshan rushed to Wuhan for frontline support after receiving the anti-epidemic notice. Due to the temporary ticket purchase, he could only rest in the dining car. Pictures in the news report showed Zhong leaning his head on the back of the dining car and resting briefly before arriving in Wuhan. He was not afraid of hardships and resolutely went to dangerous areas to support. He is a grateful and respectable academician as well as a pulmonologist.

第二，來自全國各地、支援武漢的醫(yī)護(hù)人員和家人分別，義無反顧沖向最危險(xiǎn)的感染區(qū)。有的和戀人揮手相送，有的和父母灑淚而別。坐上大巴前，許多醫(yī)護(hù)人員落了淚，但仍然堅(jiān)決地?fù)]了揮手，走上了支援的路程。雖然醫(yī)生們知道這種選擇很危險(xiǎn)，甚至?xí){到生命，但是他們都明白，既然選擇當(dāng)醫(yī)護(hù)人員，就要盡最大的努力去完成任務(wù)。

Second is the the medical staff and their families from all over the country who supported Wuhan respectively, all rushed to the most dangerous infected area without any hesitation. Some waved to their loved ones, and some shed tears at farewell with their parents. Before getting on the bus, many medical staff shed tears, but they still waved their hands firmly and embarked on the journey of support. Although doctors know that this choice is dangerous and even life-threatening, they all understood they choose to be medical staff, and must do their best to complete the task.

現(xiàn)在，疫情已得到控制，大家的生活都恢復(fù)了祥和、平靜。疫情似乎過去了很久，我們仿佛經(jīng)過了一場噩夢。夢中守護(hù)我們的，就是以鐘南山為代表的醫(yī)護(hù)人員。如果不是他們，我們的生活將會是什么樣的呢？我們將會繼續(xù)被困在家里，出門被要求戴口罩；學(xué)生們不能回到學(xué)校，員工們也將失去工作的時(shí)間；各地的工廠都不能開工，國家經(jīng)濟(jì)一片蕭條。因此，我們幸福的生活里，要感謝鐘南山院士、感謝無名的白衣天使，感謝所有為抗疫作出貢獻(xiàn)的人們。這些為2020年作出巨大貢獻(xiàn)的人們，就是今年感恩節(jié)最應(yīng)該被感激的人。

Now that the epidemic has been brought under control, in China, everyone's life has returned to calm and peace. The epidemic seems to have passed for a long time, and we seem to have gone through the nightmare. The ones that protect us in our dream is the medical staff represented by Zhong Nanshan. If it weren't for them, what would our lives be like? We would continue to be trapped at home and be required to wear masks when going out; students would not be able to go back to school, and employees would have lost time at work; factories everywhere would not be able to start work, and the national economy would have gone into a depression. Therefore, in our happy life, we must be thankful for Mr. Zhong Nanshan, thankful for the unknown 'angels in white', and thankful for all those who have contributed to the fight against the epidemic. These people who have made great contributions to 2020 are those who should be most grateful for this Thanksgiving.
