學(xué)生們深入挖掘和探索了以下幾點(diǎn)：

-人們?nèi)绾瓮ㄟ^藝術(shù)進(jìn)行交流和提供信息

-在不同文化，地點(diǎn)和時代中，藝術(shù)的作用

-藝術(shù)的發(fā)展的歷史

作為學(xué)習(xí)內(nèi)容的一部分，學(xué)生們參與創(chuàng)造了俳句和吹畫，并通過這兩種藝術(shù)形式互相交流。

俳句是日本傳統(tǒng)的古典短詩，由三行不押韻的短句組成。人們認(rèn)為，俳句不僅僅是一種詩歌形式，它更是一種觀察世界，探究更深層次的東西的方式 ---- 例如探究存在的本質(zhì)。

吹畫不使用筆刷作為作畫工具，而是通過向顏料吹氣來作畫。學(xué)生們也了解到到吹畫這種技術(shù)的早期創(chuàng)作者來自中國。

學(xué)生們在這兩種藝術(shù)創(chuàng)作中大膽發(fā)揮創(chuàng)意，他們通過作品與其他同學(xué)分享自己的想法和信息。

To explore the theme, How We Express Ourselves, G4 students are honing in on the central idea that throughout history people have interacted with each other and communicated using arts.

Students are taking a deep dive and inquiring about:

-How people communicate and provide information through the arts

-The role of the arts in different cultures, places and times

-The development of art forms over time

As part of their study of how they can communicate with one another, students have expressed their creativity through haikus and blown paintings.

A haiku is traditionally a Japanese poem consisting of three short lines that do not rhyme. A haiku is considered to be more than simply a type of poem; instead, it is a way of looking at the physical world and seeing something deeper—like the very nature of existence.

Blow painting is a technique in which ink is not applied with a brush but blown onto the artwork instead. Students learned that some early pioneers of this technique are of Chinese origin.

Boldly trying their hand at these two types of art form, students created pieces that communicated a message that they wanted to express and share with their peers.
